As I write this, I'm enjoying a light sprinkling of rain! I don't know if we will get all that we need, but it's something that I'm thankful for!
I love the quote from Thomas Lovell Beddoes. "If there were dreams to sell, what would you buy?" Would you not buy your dream fulfilled? Your dreams come to you without price or money. They come from your subconscious to your conscious, and some land deeply on your heart. Think about that for a minute! What are your heart's desires?
I often hear people talk about their "problem or current situation" repeatedly. Not because it just occurred but because they cannot get past it. It could have happened a year ago or five years ago, but it's been a story they've told themself so often they don't realize they are keeping it in their present-day life! Yep! Bringing something from their past into their present AND even pushing it into their future!!
This week's [JJJ] Julie's Joyful JOLT!
When you focus and bring attention to what you don't want, you feel discomfort, disappointment, and discouragement.
Try this instead for a new Monday Mindset:
I don’t know how long I can keep at this with no results
I really don't like how I feel when I keep focusing on this
I really don’t want to feel defeated or depressed about this
I know feeling bad about it isn’t helping the situation
I know when I talk about it it keeps bringing up that bad feeling
The more I tell everyone about it the worse I feel
I know I have a choice to think a different thought
I know I can chose to take my mind off of it for a bit
I’m going to look for how I can shift my attention
I’m going to look for ways to feel better
I’m going to do something that will make me feel better
I’m going to take a walk or a nap or listen to my affirmations
I’m already starting to feel better
I love that I can shift my feelings towards what I do want
I’m already starting to focus on what I have to be grateful for
I am thankful and grateful
I am thankful and grateful
I am thankful and grateful
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
