Good, glorious morning, my friend,

Habits start with a tiny move. Or, as my last week’s newsletter talked about, the power of a decision. Google says “habit” is a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.

“They” say it takes 66 days, to be exact, to have a new habit stick. So, by Feb. 8, you can expect to see your results forming and taking shape if you start today. Of course, for some, it will be sooner if you work on keeping it in front of you several times during the day.

Let me help you get started.

I am ready to make a change
I am really ready this time
I am really serious
I know in the past I’ve said this and didn’t stick with it
I know it’s hard to create a new habit or get rid of an old one
I know I can do it with a commitment
I know I can do it with a system
I know I can set timers to remind me to be aware
I know I can create an affirmation and say it 3 x a day
If I did it before, I can do it again
If I need to change, it will get done
If I have accountability, that helps me
I am believing I can do this 
I am believing it can be easy
I am believing it is done
It is done
It is done
It is done

There you have it! You CAN form a new habit, whether it’s a new healthy mind habit or an eating habit. 

Please mark your calendar for 66 days from now with a celebration emoji, put your affirmation and visualization of it already being done on your daily schedule, and let’s have a celebration party in February!
