Good morning, soulful friend,

If you’re new here, you may think, what the heck is a JOLT? 

I came up with the idea after hearing Esther (Abraham) Hicks do what she calls. a “rampage of appreciation.” She also teaches not to be so specific when stuck on a “problem or a negative feeling.”

In this month’s webinar (Introduction to a Joyful CEO Life), I talked about how we all know people who tell everyone when something goes wrong. Then they tell more people, and then they tell the same people the same story AGAIN!!!! (Do you know anyone like that?😜)

This negative vibration is called the spotlight effect~ shining the light on the subject only brings more attention to it and keeps the energy alive! We DON’T want this, do we?

In this week’s JOLT⚡️ (Joyfully Overcome Limited Thinking), I bring you a more general way around a subject that has been causing overwhelm, exhaustion, confusion, anxiety, or fear!

Let’s first acknowledge your feelings, then turn it around with a JOLT!⚡️

I see how “life” is happening to me right now.

I see how I have an immediate response when something happens.

I am more aware that I have a pattern of how I react when something negative happens.

I am thankful I can decide to change how I think about it.

I am thankful I’ve learned some tools to help me look at it differently

I choose to take my attention off the “why is this happening to me” and see it’s happening for me. 

I can take some deep breaths then and start to feel better

I can choose to interrupt my old patterns

I can go for a walk or play some music or take a short nap

I know I will feel better

I feel better just thinking of taking a “joy break” now

I will choose not to tell everyone about my “problem.”

I will acknowledge that I’m not happy about it, but I will not keep repeating the problem.

I will ask, “what is this problem seeking to let me know about myself?”

Then I will let it go and know Everything always works out for me
