Welcome To Your Weekly Dose Of Joy
"I choose happy tasks, and they make money." ~ Dana Wilde
I have adopted a mindset of pursuing enjoyable tasks that also generate income, which is shared by my business coach Molly Mahoney. It's a fulfilling way to live. But there are days when my list of tasks seems never-ending, particularly on Mondays. To keep myself energized and positive, I have scheduled Joy Breaks throughout the day. Multiple trips to the park help me recharge and feel refreshed, allowing me to tackle more tasks that give me a sense of satisfaction.
Let's tackle that "to-do" list with JOY with this.
[JJJ - Julie's Joyful JOLT]
I have so much to do today
I feel a bit overwhelmed
I'm not sure where to start
I feel stuck
When I'm overwhelmed, I procrastinate
I do the easy things first
I know I should get my energy flowing first
Maybe I will play some upbeat music or go for a walk
When I take a break, I feel better
When I take a break, I am motivated to take action
When I come back...

Welcome to June, Beautiful Soul,
June, the official start of summer, brings longer days and a vibrant atmosphere. It's a month filled with significant holidays, including Father's Day and the newly recognized federal holiday of Juneteenth. However, June holds an extra special place in my heart because it's my birthday month, and I embrace the opportunity to celebrate with my loved ones throughout the entire month.
My birthday isn't just about receiving gifts or cards; it's about gathering together with family and friends. We venture to our favorite places, indulge in our beloved foods, and simply enjoy each other's company. The true essence of my birthday lies in the cherished moments spent with those I hold dear. So, keep an eye on my social channels as I share the joy and excitement of this month, capturing the memories that will last a lifetime.
As we find ourselves at the halfway point of the year, June becomes a time for reflection and reassessment of our goals and dreams. Are...
Happy Memorial Day!
Growing up in a town outside of Buffalo, NY, Memorial Weekend was when we opened our pool, and everyone planted flowers as a sense of pride as we honored those who served in our community and family.
Did you know?:
- Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day, was first observed in the United States on May 30, 1868. It was a day to honor and decorate the graves of soldiers who died during the Civil War.
- In 1971, Memorial Day became a federal holiday designated as the last Monday in May. It became the unofficial start of the summer season.
- The red poppy flower is a symbol of Memorial Day. Inspired by the famous World War I poem "In Flanders Fields" by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, the red poppy is a tribute to fallen soldiers and a symbol of remembrance.
- Memorial Day is also considered the unofficial start of the grilling season in the United States. Many people celebrate the holiday with barbecues and outdoor gatherings.

Last week I spent 3 days with my mentor, coach, and spiritual teacher
(not sure what to call her ). I now realize that people really don’t care
about your title or how many initials you have after your name.
I had asked her for a certificate to “prove”
that I was worthy to teach what I’m teaching.
She agreed to give me her first official Dream Code Activator certification!!
I think it's just to shut me up!! Lol!
She has been telling me all along that “I’m not new”.
People are used to me...
Hi Beautiful Soul,
On Saturday, May 6th, I launched my new series,
"Car Coaching with Julie." Did you catch it?
I decided to BE the woman who delivers valuable weekly content to my private Facebook Group.
If you missed it, you can watch it once you are a part of our savvy group of women - click below to ask to join here.
If you are new to my Weekly Dose of JOY, I created this to help you conquer any sticking points that might arise as you begin your work week. Each week I deliver a JOLT [JJJ - Julie's Joyful JOLT], which stands for Joyfully Overcoming Limited Thinking.
We turn a thought or feeling into a "feel good" moment.
Others have told me they print and read it throughout the day. I hope it blesses you and keeps you JOYFUL!
This is a conversation I have several times a week —
"When I have (fill in the blank) then I will do...and then I will be..:" Example: "When I have the money, then I will be able to (do the thing), and then I will be successful."
Hello Beautiful Soul,
Many of you don't know much about my history. I was born 22 years after my oldest brother and 12 years after my sister as a mid-life "oops" baby. My mother had her first child at 18 and me at 41; my dad was 48. They were already grandparents and really didn't "want" another child.
Having said that, my mother always said there was a reason for a mid-life baby. I grew up with many nieces and nephews close to my age and had a large extended family and many friends. My childhood was fun and full of life!
My mother passed away on New Year's Day, 31 years to the day that her mother passed away. I was 31 when she died. The year I had my daughter. My mother never had the chance to meet my children or see me as a grandmother (Glammy & Me-Maw).
Today she would be proud of the woman I've become and the obstacles I've overcome over the years. I'm proud of the woman I have become. It hasn't always been easy, and I know I've turned down some bumpy roads, but...
Hello there, Soulful Friend!
MY WORD FOR APRIL is ACTION
The definition of Action ~
1. The fact or process of doing something, typically to achieve an aim.
2. A thing done: an act
I’ve heard the acronym for ACT is Action Changes Things.
Sometimes taking action feels hard. Sometimes it seems impossible.
Sometimes you don’t feel like doing what you “should be doing.”
Does anyone ever feel like this too?
Today I’m not delivering a JOLT, per se, but a mantra or affirmation you can say that will get you into a “feel good state of mind,” which, in turn, will move you toward taking positive action.
This is from the book “Project 369” by David Kasneci.
Prosperity flows effortlessly into my life as I align with the abundance of the universe. I release any limiting beliefs and patterns that may be blocking my success and express gratitude for the endless abundance within me. With gratitude as my...
Good Morning Soulful Friend,
Spring reminds us that even in the darkest times, there is always the potential for growth and renewal. Today I am returning from a week of filling my cup with personal development and growth.
Surrounding yourself with people who think bigger, take more significant risks, and forge ahead, even in the face of fear and failure, elevates your thinking.
Are you setting aside funds for your personal growth and continuing education? It's what separates the successful from the struggling.
Today’s [JJJ] Julie's Joyful JOLT (joyfully overcoming limited thinking) is stepping into the knowing that you will be taken care of when you choose to stretch your thinking, stretch your budget, stretch your bank account to elevate your success!
If you want to take "feel-good" action right now, then keep reading...

Hello Beautiful Soul,
"Let us not be conformed to this world, but be transformed and progressively changed by the renewing of your mind." ~Romans 12:2
Spring is a season of rebirth and renewal.
New life emerges as the weather warms up and the days grow longer. Trees and flowers burst into bloom, birds return from their migrations, and baby animals are born. It's a time of hope and optimism as the world returns to life after the long, dark winter.
Because thoughts create our feelings, our feelings dictate whether we will take action, and our actions create results.
Let's use this weeks [JJJ] Julie's Joyful JOLT
to dive into the renewal of your mind.
I like the idea of being able to control my thoughts
I like being more aware of what I am thinking
I like being able to make a mind shift at any time
I like that I am the creator of my reality
I like being a proactive thinker
I like how it moves my energy
I like how I can focus on one positive thought
Good Monday Morning!
Each week I'm in many conversations with entrepreneurs;
One of the most common rough edges they come up against is clarity. Often that lack of clarity creates indecision, and suddenly the excitement and flow in their business come to a screeching halt.
I don't know about you, but I wanted to be my own boss when I was an employee.
Now that I'm my own boss, I often seek advice on "what to do next!" Becoming an entrepreneur and embracing the life of a CEO did not come with a manual!!!!
With this week's [JJJ] Julie's Joyful JOLT, let's conquer indecision by allowing more clarity and flow.
I don't like when I feel unclear
I don't like the feeling when I'm indecisive
I know it causes me to freeze
I know this isn't helping me get to where I want to go
Having clarity is a fantastic feeling
I've had clarity in the past before
I'm open to feeling clear again right now
I'm starting to dig up the sense of clarity
Welcome to your Monday Mind-set Morning!
This week our family got some really good news! I have to believe it was because I prayed for it, trusted the outcome, and released the worry around it. This can be challenging for us humans!!!! In the past, I had asked, prayed, and then continued to worry!!!
Does anyone else relate to this?
It takes practice, especially if this has been a habit or a pattern you have developed over the years. I'm here to tell you that you can cause a "mind-shift" and create a new "mind-set."
Let's dive into this week's [JJJ] Julie's Joyful JOLT
Sometimes I find myself worrying.
I sometimes worry about little things.
I sometimes worry about big things.
I find that when I keep thinking about it, it gets bigger
I see what I focus on magnifies
I see when I focus on the problem; it feels heavy
I know that this is just a habit I have developed
I know if I can change my thinking, I can feel better about it
I know that most things I worry about never even...
