I don’t know about you, but I am ready to pull out my warm-weather clothes and head to the beach for some sun!!
While many of us are in loving relationships, this is the month when some may feel alone or longing for a partner or a more profound friendship.
In this week’s [JJJ] Julie’s Joyful JOLT, we will focus on feeling loved regardless of your current relationship status. Because it only truly matters how you think of yourself that will attract the perfect partner, friendships, or business relationships.

I’m feeling a bit alone today.
I am noticing that I’m focusing on what I don’t have.
I am feeling a bit “less than” others at the moment.
I feel that I could be happier with more meaningful relationships.
I do know I have some wonderful friends and business associates.
I do know that I have family & friends that care about me.

It was October 2020, when we received the news that my ex-husband (my children's father) had taken his own life! It was also the same month that I had internally decided to step away from the business I had built for 25 years and mentor and coach a woman with whom I had a cultural and language barrier.
In stepped…..doubt…..fear…..lack of confidence.
A lightning bolt rocked our world with shock, disbelief, and questions. My family could barely step into this new reality.
Self-doubt questioned who was I to leave something that had "security, familiarity & reliability?"
Fear of what was next became a dark shadow that followed me around.
And then the most significant step was overcoming a sudden lack of confidence. But was I kidding myself? Life is impermanent, no job is secure, and businesses fail!

If you’re new here, you may think, what the heck is a JOLT?
I came up with the idea after hearing Esther (Abraham) Hicks do what she calls. a “rampage of appreciation.” She also teaches not to be so specific when stuck on a “problem or a negative feeling.”
In this month’s webinar (Introduction to a Joyful CEO Life), I talked about how we all know people who tell everyone when something goes wrong. Then they tell more people, and then they tell the same people the same story AGAIN!!!! (Do you know anyone like that?)
This negative vibration is called the spotlight effect~ shining the light on the subject only brings more attention to it and keeps the energy alive! We DON’T want this, do we?
In this week’s JOLT (Joyfully Overcome Limited Thinking), I bring you a more general way around a subject that has been causing overwhelm, exhaustion, confusion, anxiety, or fear!

It's President's Day - Are you taking today off from work? As an entrepreneur (speaking for myself), I LOVE what I do and whom I get to serve, so "taking a break" is sometimes something I force myself to do.
If you're like many, we were taught "hard work" gets you ahead and helps you succeed. I've learned the answer to success is to "take a break," which allows ease, flow & joy in my life. When you open up space, you enable terrific ideas to come to you, and then you want to take action, and people can feel your energy! Then "work" becomes easy!
So let’s debunk “hard work” with this week’s Julie’s Joyful JOLT!

By definition, appreciation involves the recognition, enjoyment, and full sensitive understanding of the value of something. Gratitude is the readiness to show or express appreciation to someone else for what was felt.

Many of you have attended my “Introduction to a Joyful CEO Life” webinars and have heard me talk about taking a Joy Break.
This week I’m taking a break from the JJJ - Julie’s Joyful Jolt and bringing you information on why taking a Joy Break two or more throughout your day is so vital to your mental health.
Did you know that studies show after 90 minutes, your brain will begin to take a break?
You will begin to lose focus and become fatigued, and your mind will begin to wander.
So give your brain a break several times a day because:
1. The part of the brain responsible for decision-making and judgment works creatively when the brain is quiet.
2. Moments of insight occur when the brain unwinds.
3. Multi-tasking actually slows down thinking and output, which impacts productivity.
